Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Myrmidon Studio ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit myrmidon.in or use any of our products: Replenly and Mythwrites (together, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address and password (stored hashed) when you create an account with one of our products.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Razorpay or the app store through which you purchased. We receive a transaction reference, the amount, the plan purchased and the payment status. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Content you create. Data you enter into a product to use it, such as inventory records, manuscripts or notes.
- Usage and device data. Log data such as IP address, browser or device type, pages visited and timestamps, used for security, debugging and aggregate analytics.
- Support correspondence. Emails you send to support@myrmidon.in.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and improve the Services.
- To process payments, issue invoices and handle refunds.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send service notices such as billing receipts, security alerts and changes to terms. Marketing email is sent only with your consent and always includes an unsubscribe link.
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To comply with applicable law.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Payment processors (Razorpay, and app stores where applicable) to complete transactions.
- Infrastructure and service providers that host our applications, deliver email or provide analytics, under contracts that restrict their use of the data to providing the service to us.
- Third-party platforms you connect to a product, for example a Shopify store connected to Replenly, only to the extent needed for the integration you enabled.
- Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect our rights, users or the public.
4. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except for records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons (typically transaction records, retained for up to 8 years as required under Indian law).
5. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and hosted infrastructure with industry-standard protections. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to support@myrmidon.in. We respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
Our products use strictly necessary cookies or local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. This website (myrmidon.in) sets no cookies.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure may be located outside India. Where personal data is transferred abroad we apply safeguards consistent with Indian law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email.
